Fishing Pier

This 1300-foot-long concrete pier juts out into the lively ocean, providing a view of the breakwater and the surfers that it attracts. There’s a quiet and friendly atmosphere during the small hours and through the day, as the regulars set up their chairs to spend the hours with rods hanging off the side to catch their fish while people stroll out for the view. Lit with a long line of street lamps, there’s a different feel at night as the waves crash around the base and the darkness over the water pushes in on all sides.
