Griffith Park

Much of this park is rugged, uncultivated terrain, laced throughout with hiking and equestrian trails at the eastern end of the Santa Monica mountains. More than 400 acres, the park is the largest in the area and often called LA’s “Central Park,” and has been a popular place for anyone looking for a bit of greenery or an amazing view of the city. The homeless take advantage of the vast space, as it’s hard to pin someone with loitering in such a big place designed for leisure.
