LA River Walk
lariver.png

Pedestrians and joggers can follow the concrete channel of the LA River along this two-mile stretch of trails. The walking surface is made up of fine granite rather than asphalt, and benches give travelers a place to rest and enjoy the view of the river or the public art works along the way. The Rattlesnake Wall is a retaining wall made of river rock and a giant rattlesnake, with the engravings of the names of children who helped work on the park. Beyond the Rattlesnake Wall is a Butterfly Garden, featuring beds of native flowers that attract butterflies, with the beds making up the outline of a butterfly.
