Stoney Point

The hallmark of this park is the giant rock outcropping: huge sandstone boulders rising out of the green shrubbery. A maze of trails circles the mountain, some seeming to lead nowhere and others overgrown with brush and debris. A main trail traverses the outcropping to bring hikers to its summit. Boulders group together creating caves that provide shelter from the elements, though these days, one can never be too sure just what one will find in there.
