The In-Between

The In-Between is a generic independent coffee spot, complete with black chalkboard menus and a kitschy boutique of mugs, local-author books, and handmade jewelry on the shelves lining the walls across from the coffee bar. The wooden shaker-style chairs and tables aren’t particularly comfortable and the prices of the coffee are much too high, even surpassing those of the ubiquitous Starbucks. Still, it’s a busy and popular place; often, the only seats available are the even more uncomfortable wrought-iron bistro tables outside. Quite a few of the Faerie seem to make up the patronage as well as the unusually-attractive staff.
